The Reading Gods are Coming

Hope and I were talking to today about our company, the hiccups, the successes, and how we continue to feel fortunate everyday to do what we love and still pay our bills.  Really- this came up as part of our conversation today.

As part of that package, we have had the privilege to meet several authors who we refer to as The Reading Gods: Debbie Miller, Cris Tovani, and Stephanie Harvey.   There are many, many influential people we like to follow, but when these ladies get together, it creates an amazing amount of synergy!  A year from now these ladies will be back with us in Winston-Salem for 2.5 days of workshops that ANYONE can attend.  I feel sure they could go to thousands of other places, so we are very flattered that they fit Winston-Salem in their summer stops.

Hope and I have booked a new venue for the event and are currently working on the literature to advertise.  We have not started booking, and you will be the FIRST to know when we do.  And of course we are starting to review menus so the food will meet everyone’s approval.  We appreciate how much that matters at these sorts of things!

Cris has written multiple books and the other Reading Gods have, too.  If you don’t know about these ladies, take the next year to read a little bit about them or what they have written.  They get it.  (And they write so we can totally understand what they are saying!  In fact, Hope & I really want to be like them when we grow up.)

If you don’t feel like reading and learning about them, then just plan to come see them next year.  I will bet you walk away a fan.
